Introducing Livin' a Fly Life workshop leader Marissa Metz!
Marissa is a graduate student at Colorado State University studying neuroscience. She majored in psychology during her undergraduate degree, and spent time doing research in the psychology field studying language, stress, and older adults. Later, she worked with fruit flies studying their nervous system development and behavior. She is currently rotating in labs at CSU and is excited to have studied frog ears, fruit fly muscles, and mouse neurons so far.
